Work in Progress

Yes, I do have more to show I just have been lazy with the camera! I have almost finished a pair of capris for Miss E. I am planing on doing some embroidery on them too so I will try to get a WIP pic up tomorrow for people to see.

Finished at last!

I have decided that I will give baby wool a break for a bit! I much prefer to work with chunkier yarn!

Anyway, here is the finished product! I am quite happy with it although I'm not completely happy with the sewing up. I guess with more practice I will get better!

I am thinking of a knitted flower to stitch on one side. What do you think? I also like it plain as Miss E can wear it with anything!

I Love Mail!

Well, nothing completed to show but I have some mail to show! I placed an order with the Fat Quarter Shop in the US for some fabric for a quilt and also a nappy bag.

I am also making this shrug for Miss E and so far have completed the back and the left front side. Not much to show in the way of pictures though. Will post a completed pic soon (hopefully!)

I have SO much on my to do list at the moment. I still have fabric waiting for me to make a top for myself and also a dress (or 2) for Miss E. I have a few balls of BWM wool waiting for me and I want to order more!! (cotton this time!). "I will not spend money, I will not spend money"

Sorry, I have been really slack with my blog this week! It is Friday already and this is my first post! Oh well, I will have to do better next week.

I have progressed with the baby hexagon quilt and also started knitting a front tie shrug for Miss E. Stay tuned for some pics!

Something for Baby

I have decided to make a baby quilt for the new baby. Not knowing the sex I decided on creams and naturals. I am hoping to back it with something soft and cuddly like cotton fleece!

I spent a few hours last night cutting out and this morning sewed a few together and am happ with how I think it is going to look! It is all hand sewn so will probably take a while but will be a lovely keepsake.

Bloomin' Bloomers!

Yes, I made another pair! I altered the pattern before cutting and they are a much better fit. BUT I sewed them together wrong and had to unpick them all! I thought I remembered fromt he other day how they went together but obviously I didn't! Anyway I also made a dress that the bloomers were made to go with. It is from the same pattern as the brown and pink dress but is a different style.

Another Little Treasure

Yesterday I had my 20 weeks scan, and got to see my gorgeous little bub. We decided not to find out the sex (although it was tempting while in there!) but I think he/she is pretty cute!
